Our process – installing your worktop
We want you to know what to expect from start to finish, so that we are always accountable for our actions. This is the journey you will complete as one of our valued customers:
- We will use your kitchen plan or your sizes to be able to quote for your worktops in the materials you would like. We will help you decide on the right products for you and will ensure they will be suitable when in place.
- If you would like to go ahead we kindly ask for a deposit to confirm your order. We then book in a time to complete templating. This allows us to measure your new worktop and see where best to place the joint. We can also discuss any extras if you require these. We will agree access requirements for installation.
- Once templating is completed, we begin making your worktops. They can usually be installed within 5-7 working days – we will keep you fully informed about timescales throughout the process.
- You’re ready for installation. There will always be two people on site, one of whom would have completed the templating process if possible. We measure and cut upstands to size, then fix sinks with silicone and place hobs onto worktops, ready for the plumber and electrician.
And that’s it! Installation can usually be completed within three hours, though we will advise on timescales for your project when we quote. You will be able to use your sink within twelve hours of installation, after which you will have a fully functioning kitchen. On completion, you will be shown your new worktops by your stonemason, so you can check they are up to the high quality you’d expect and sign the work off.

This is particularly important if you are looking for something bespoke – we want to ensure we can complete the work to the highest standard for you.
